Beloved, let me be honest with you before we do anything else.

We disappeared.

Purposely Awakened went quiet — and if you were here from the beginning, you noticed. You might have wondered what happened. You might have even felt a little abandoned. And I need you to know that I understand that. Because this community was built on the kind of trust that doesn’t just bounce back automatically. It has to be earned again.

So here is the truth.

Sometimes the most purposeful thing you can do is stop. Not quit — stop. There is a difference. Quitting is leaving with your back turned. Stopping is standing still long enough to hear what God is trying to tell you. It is the hardest kind of discipline there is — especially for people who are called to speak.

Purposely Awakened was born in 2018 in the middle of fire. Social unrest. A pandemic knocking on the door. A community of people desperate to feel like somebody was saying what they were feeling. And we showed up for that. We spoke into it. We built something real.

And then we needed to go learn some things.

We needed to grow into the version of this platform that could actually hold the weight of what we were trying to carry. Because here is what nobody tells you about purpose-driven work — if you pour out without ever filling back up, eventually you have nothing left to give but noise. And this community deserves more than noise.

The silence was not a failure. It was formation.

We were in the in-between — and if you have ever been in that space yourself, you know it does not feel holy while you are living it. It feels like stagnation. Like defeat. Like everybody else is moving and you are standing still with no good reason you can explain. But on the other side of it — every single time — there is a clarity that could not have come any other way.

That is where we are now.

We come back with Zora. With a sharper voice, a cleaner vision, and a deeper commitment to the people who need this space. We come back with stories that matter, conversations that cost something, and a refusal to water any of it down for comfort.

We went quiet because quiet was holy.

Now we are back — and we brought everything we learned.

Welcome home, beloved. We are so glad you stayed.
